How to Install The AR Folding Stock Adapter
Installing the Sylvan Arms Stock Adapter is easy:
1. Remove your buffer tube, factory castle nut, and end plate using an Armorer's Wrench.
2. With the buffer tube removed, thread the Stock Adapter onto the lower receiver, and tighten the Adapter's included castle nut with your Armorer's Wrench.
3. Next, open the hinge on the Stock Adapter 90 degrees. Thread your original buffer tube and castle nut onto the Adapter's threaded housing. Continue threading the tube onto the Adapter until the retaining pin inside the adapter is captured by the cut-out in your buffer tube's threads.
4. Finally, tighten the original castle on the original buffer tube, securing the tube to the Adapter. Follow Sylvan Arms' install video for additional help.
