- Clark/Para Polished Ramp: This kit's barrel features a Clark/Para-style polished ramp to ensure all 9mm ammo, whether FMJ, polymer-tipped, frangile, or JHP, feeds reliably. Its link and pin also ship installed to make final assembly easier.
- Sights Preinstalled: We install the slide's front and rear sights for you, eliminating an assembly step that would require special tools.
- Checkered Mainspring Housing: This kit's mainspring housing features dense checkering and a matte finish, providing a better grip with extra recoil control.

Q: Is this kit considered a firearm?
A: Under federal law, no. It does not include a 1911 frame, which is the firearm component of the 1911 platform. All parts contained within this kit are just that: Parts that can be bought and sold online, like any other consumer product.
Q: Does this kit require extra gunsmithing?
A: No. All parts are completely machined to their final dimensions, with finishes applied and components polished and de-burred. This kit is ready to be installed in your frame out of the box.
Q: Which frames are compatible with this kit?
A: This kit works with ramped 9mm Government frames, including our 9mm 80% 1911 frames. It will not work with un-ramped frames. Ramped frames feature a rounded radius cut just behind the magazine well that fits the barrel's integrated ramp.
Q: How long does it take to receive my kit?
A: We only sell in-stock kits and items. If you can add the kit to your cart, it's in our warehouse, already boxed up and ready to ship to you. We ship fast from our Indiana warehouse, too -- usually in 24 to 48 hours!
