  • Amazing Selection

The Magpul MOE® Mil-Spec Carbine Stock is light, tough, and comfortable. Its shielded latch provides smooth action while preventing accidental adjustments to length of pull. Loosely based on the original M4 buttstock, this skeletonized version provides the same adjustments and accuracy in a smaller, lighter package.

The MOE® Carbine Stock is designed to fit all mil-spec buffer tubes. These tubes have an outer diameter of 1.148".

  • Length of Pull, Collapsed: 10.5 in.
  • Length of Pull, Extended: 13.8 in.
  • Length of Pull Range: 3.3 in.
  • Weight: 8.0 oz. (0.5 lbs.)
  • Upgraded lock spring provides tight fit and long service life.
  • Sloping cheek weld combines a slim profile with user comfort.
  • Side-mount slots accept cheek risers for raised optics and sights.
  • Shielded release latch prevents snagging and accidental operation
  • Removable rubber pad reduces slippage and helps mitigate felt recoil.
  • Compatible with Magpul ASAP®, ASAP® QD, and other sling attachments.

Magpul's MOE and CTR stocks are identical in their form, size, and function, save for one difference: The upgraded CTR stock weighs approximately 0.8 ounces more than the MOE. This extra weight is attributed to the CTR's patented Friction Lock, which engages alongside the adjustment lever.

The MOE stock has no Friction Lock device. The CTR's Friction Lock eliminates all "slop and wobble" when engaged, reducing the stock's movement during fire and enhancing accuracy.
