Forged lowers 2-pack with easy jig package.

The jig is precision. I utilized it to mill two of the forged 7075-T6 aluminum lowers. I was impressed with the results. Even though I used a 2-1/2 HP router you need to be patient especially with forged 7075 and mill the minimal amount per pass or you will chatter. The package is well worth the price!

"I have been doing tons of research on building an 80% lower AR-15 and honestly was afraid to because I have no experience working with a router of any kind. I must have watched the how to video here at least 8 times or more before I decided to go ahead and buy this kit that comes with 2 lowers and all the tools that i needed. I figured that if I mess up one I will have another one to work on. It turns out that I didn't need to worry about messing up and now I have 2 lowers that are completely finished and 2 AR-15's that are put together and firing just fine. The directions are easy and as long as you take your time you can do this. The money that I saved buying this kit plus my ar15 build kits - I don't know about you but I ca do math pretty but the numbers don't lie, It makes way more sense to build as many of these as you want. That's what I plan on doing!"

High Quality

"Got my kit and it sat on the shelf until I got brave enough to dive in. Turns out, I was overly worried. The directions are clear and I turned out two of the nicest lowers you can imagine. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because the end mill was slightly too short for my Dewalt router and wanted to walk out of the chuck when finishing the trigger opening. Also, when fitting my upper, I had to take some material off the inside area of the lower where the rear lug of the upper fits. Minor things really. I built out my lower with a nice trigger kit and put a 450 Bushmaster upper on it for a fantastic rifle that is very accurate. Very happy with this experience. "

Top Quality

Can't say how much I'm pleased with the lowers. They are better than some of the others I've seen.

First Time: Not too hard

"I am going to do 2 AR 15's, I've started my first one, and it isn't going too bad, it's actually fairly easy, as long as your pre read and follow the instructions, as well as being familiar with your drill press and vise. Seems like it would also be easy to do with a hand drill. Worth the cost."
