Some argue that .308 and 7.62x51 require a long barrel -- usually 20" or more -- for maximum accuracy. But we've found that a barrel as short at 18" can still provide the accuracy you expect from this proven .30-caliber cartridge if you simply invest in a better barrel.
That's precisely what this kit affords: Its 18" SOCOM barrel features a heavier profile, precision-made from 4150 CMV steel. Coupled with a quality, mil-spec lower parts kit and buffer assembly, this .308 AR rifle kit provides the power and performance you need, in a slightly smaller package that sheds weight and length.

This is not a firearm. It includes an assembled upper receiver, bolt carrier group, charging handle, lower parts kit, buffer tube kit, and buttstock.
