AR15 9mm Bolt Carrier Group

Ships Next Business Day

You already know that the lower half of your 9mm AR needs all the "guts" inside to make it work. Even though the lower receiver is the more complicated of the two, the upper receiver needs a thing or two inside it to make it work as well. You'll need a BCG, but you can't just use an AR-15's BCG. Different bullets, different calibers, different sizes, different recoil methods (see note below). This AR15 9mm Bolt Carrier Group is machined out of 8620 alloy steel and finished with QPQ black nitride. This bolt is compatible with both Glock® and Colt style 9mm AR-15 magazines without any additional modifications.

NOTE: The standard-sized AR-15 employs a direct impingement gas system to get its BCG to cycle the current brass out and the next round in. The majority of 9mm AR rifles use a blowback system, relying on the force of the round being fired to cycle. This BCG is for 9mm AR rifles that use a blowback design. In short, if your AR has a gas tube (or even a gas port, meaning it's meant to have a gas tube), this BCG will not work.

Additional Features:

  • Blowback design (not direct impingment/gassed)
  • Must use with a standard, mil-spec AR-15 Hammer (not notched, multi-purposed, or multi-caliber)
  • Removable Weight for use with Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter.
