Description

Some people say the .223 Wylde caliber of barrel, while being able to accept both the .223 and its military counterpart the 5.56mm cartridge, is by its design more susceptible to wear and loss of accuracy due to extended use. They may be correct, but there's a caveat: they're correct after thousands and thousands of rounds fired. The fact is, for everyday civilian use, excessive wear is a nonfactor.

But if you're still worried about it, we have a solution. This AR-15 build kit comes to you with a 16-inch, 416R, steel heavy profile barrel pre-mounted in its upper receiver instead of a standard or M4 profiled one. That means you get extra rigidity for maintained accuracy. It also means that thousands and thousands of rounds fired through it still won't screw with said accuracy. Oh, and one more thing: it's finished in that lustrous stainless steel, because there's no reason your robust-ass workhorse can't look good too.

As an added bonus, we included an aggressive-looking 12-inch slanted free-float M-Lok handguard. Mount whatever accessories you want to really make your rifle your own.

What’s Included

This kit is not a firearm. It includes an assembled upper receiver, lower parts kit, and buffer assembly with buttstock. This kit does not include a stripped lower receiver (the firearm component). Pair this rifle kit with an AR-15 80% lower receiver and AR-15 jig to fabricate a receiver, sold separately.

Here's the beginner's guide to 80% lowers.
