The typical 16"-barreled AR can feel a bit lengthy -- especially if you're used to the small, compact profiles of most 9mm platforms. That's why this is the perfect kit for building an AR-9 rifle: Its bufferless setup allows you to ditch the buffer tube in favor of any folding stock.
Bufferless Upper Includes Sealed End Plate
Included with this upper is a guide rod and recoil spring with end plate that threads into any standard buffer tube housing's threads -- including our AR-9 80% lowers, and all other retail-bought 9mm AR lowers. The end plate features a Picatinny rail for attaching your choice of folding stock adapter.
