Holosun X2 Install & Use
The 507C X2 Red Dot is compatible with all RMR-cut pistol slides. That includes modern (Gen 5) GLOCK® handguns equipped with "MOS" slides and adapter plates, and many of our available optic-cut Gen 3 / Polymer80 slides.
The Holosun X2 Red Dot includes mounting screws of various lengths to accommodate diffferent slides. Also included is the necessary Torx key for installing your red dot optic.
The provided Torx key is also used to adjust the 1-MOA turrets, and to remove the waterproof battery compartment for battery replacement.
The X2's CR1632 battery should rarely, if ever, need to be replaced. While in Auto Mode (default) the solar panel recharges the battery and powers the illuminated reticle. In Auto Mode, the red dot will only rely on battery power when there is insufficient ambient light for the solar panel.
Holosun X2 Red Dot Functions
The Holosun X2's functions are accessed via the PLUS and MINUS (brightness) buttons on the left side of the unit. In Auto Mode, brightness is automatically adjusted based on ambient light.
To manually set brightness, first switch the red dot to Manual Mode: Hold the PLUS button for 3 seconds, until the reticle blinks once. Then select the desired brightness by pressing the PLUS or MINUS buttons.
To select Lockout Mode (disabling button presses), press and hold the PLUS button a second time, for 3 seconds. To revert back to Auto Mode, press and hold the PLUS button a third time.
By default, the Holosun X2 automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity. To select a longer Sleep Time, press and hold the PLUS button for 10 seconds. Then press the PLUS or MINUS buttons to cycle through available Sleep times: 10 minutes (1 blink), 1 hour (2 blinks), 12 hours (3 blinks), or No Sleep (4 blinks).
In No Sleep Mode, the Holosun X2 must be manually shut off by pressing and holding both the PLUS and MINUS buttons simultaneously.
The Holosun X2's reticle can be adjusted to provide a halo-and-dot combination reticle, or only the halo or dot. To select a reticle, press and hold the MINUS button for 3 seconds.
