A.K.A The "Super Selektor." The ultimate 3-position forced reset solution for the AR-15.

Atrius Development Group built the Forced Reset Selector as an affordable and more robust alternative to other forced reset triggers (FRTs) and safeties.

Atrius Forced Reset Selector Features

  • Three-position safety. The Atrius Forced Reset Selector offers SAFE, SEMI and SUPER-SEMI, keeping your AR's original functionality.
  • Works with mil-spec parts. Drop-in safety that works with all mil-spec lower receivers and mil-spec hammers and triggers.
  • No modifications required. Installs like any other AR-15 safety, making use of the same receiver hole, detent, and spring.
  • Durable, all-steel construction. Made from heat-treated 4140 steel, allowing it to handle serious abuse. Also coated with an anti-corrosive finish.
  • Smooth, mechanical engagement. Made to function dependably for thousands of rounds without extra wear-and-tear on your AR's components.
  • Solid lock-up and function. Precisely machined with deep grooves and chamfers, and a quality spring and cam that provide tactile clicks and positive resets.
  • 100% U.S. Made. Proudly made from American steel, on American machines, on U.S. soil.

Atrius Selector Parts Compatibility

To ensure your Atrius Forced Reset Selector functions reliably, your AR-15 must have the following:

  • Hammer with mil-spec rear hook
  • Trigger with square tail (no relief cuts)
  • Lower receiver with "FA" shelf or low rear shelf
  • Upper receiver with "FA" / M16 bolt carrier group
  • H2 or H3 buffer weight strongly recommended

Triggers previously modified with relief cuts for other forced reset products will not function with the Atrius Selector. Hammers with no rear hook will not function with the Selector. The lack of a rear hook on the hammer will allow the Selector's cam lever to over-travel, causing binding and failure.

Selector Installation & Function

The Atrius Selector installs like any other AR-15 safety lever, utilizing the original safety lever hole, detent, and spring. The selector's screw should be tightened with blue Loctite and torqued to 15 in.-lbs. (1.7 Nm) with a T10 Torx bit. When installed properly, the curved tip of the Selector's cam lever should face rearward, toward the buffer.
