80% Lowers Fire/Safe (1-pack) & Broken Arms 80% Lower Jig - AR15/AR9 (With Tooling)

You want to build an AR-15 truly from scratch. You’ve got no experience and no clue where to begin. That’s okay, because this is all you need to get started: The Broken Arms AR-15/308 Jig is arguably the simplest 80% jig on the market. It ditches more expensive tooling and machining techniques and only requires a drill press for machining a receiver. If you can drill a hole, you can build a black rifle with this kit.

Mil-Spec 80% Lower Included

The Broken Arms Jig is compatible with any forged or billet AR-15 or AR9 80 lower. We made it as easy as possible for first-timers by bundling a mil-spec AR-15 lower with this jig kit. It’s forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and ships with “FIRE” and “SAFE” engravings and a Type III Hardcoat anodized finish. No FFL is required to buy or own this receiver blank and jig under federal law. Staw laws may vary. Please check our Shipping & Returns Policy to confirm your state is not restricted before ordering.

The Broken Arms Jig & Bits

The Broken Arms Jig uses a set of metal plates and Allen-head bolts to guide you along as you machine this hunk of aluminum into a proper lower receiver. The jig’s templates show you where to drill and how far to go. You simply operate the press and let the jig and bits do the rest. Speaking of bits, we threw in commercial-grade HSS bits so you can finish your receiver (and a few more afterward) in a matter of minutes.
