6.5 Creedmoor Side-Charging Rifle Kit - 20" Stainless Heavy Barrel (Straight Fluted), 1:8 Twist Rate, with 15" M-LOK Handguard

The AR-15 should be a staple of anyone's long gun collection. It's a time-proven design for shooting distances ranging from CQ all the way out to 800m if you're that good. But if you focus more on long range than say, home defense or the distance of your local range, you'll want to shoot an AR with a caliber that'll give you the ballistic properties you'll need to really hone your long-range skills. You need to upgrade to 6.5 Creedmoor.

With that in mind, we give you this kit we've put together a build kit based on the 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. What you'll get is a prebuilt upper assembly featuring a 20" 416R stainless steel barrel with straight fluting for a little extra flash and style. The upper itself is also a side-charger, because everyone's got a rifle with a standard charging handle; they're boring. With it, we've chosen a barrel that's foregone the chrome lining to squeeze even more accuracy out of it and yield sub-MOA shot groups at further distances. It's got a 1:8 twist rate to reliably handle many of the common bullet grains, and it's been coupled with a 15" split-rail M-LOK handguard, so you can mount your bipod, a vertical grip, or whatever else. What you'll need to do to finish your rifle is to grab an 80% lower, which you can find here. Then just complete the final required work on it to get it to function, and build your rifle. All that'll be left after that will be for you to find the type of sights or optics you like, mount them on top, and get some mags and ammo. See below for more details.
