Kit Features & Upgrades
416R Stainless Barrel. The barrel included with each kit is precisely forged and cut from Crucible 416R stainless, one of the best gun steels available on the market. Featuring a 1:10 twist rate with 11-degree target crown and nitride treatment, your barrel will provide superior accuracy, wear, and lifespan.
17-4 PH Stainless Slide. Nitride- and heat-treated to obtain a hardness rating of 41-44 on the Rockwell C scale, your front- and rear-cut slide provides ergonomics, better control, and complete protection from corrosion and rust in the most unforgiving environments. Included open-leaf glow sights provide optimal sight picture in day and night conditions, making this slide perfect for the range, competition, and concealed carry.
Factory-spec parts kits. GLOCK® components are the most reliable, so it only makes sense to outfit each with kit 100% factory-spec parts, ensuring your build can be assembled without a hitch and will function with completely dependability for thousands of rounds.
Polymer 80% frame. The included frame blank affords top-tier components including a stainless steel locking block rail system and drop-in rear rail module, with an optional Picatinny accessory rail for a light or laser. To improve control and felt recoil, these frames feature an 18-degree grip angle, improving the factory GLOCK®'s 22-degree grip angle.
Completing the Frame for Assembly
Your pistol kit includes easy-to-follow instructions for setting up the frame and jig, and using the included bits to machine the frame, making it ready for final assembly. To get a better idea of the steps involved, see our visual guide detailing how to cut and drill the frame.
Building Your Pistol: Federal vs. State Law
Under federal law, it is legal to build a firearm from scratch for personal use without a license. You don't need to visit an FFL, nor do you need to conduct a background. The ATF confirms these rights. No components in the GLOCK® pistol kit are considered a firearm, so your kit ships directly to you in most cases.
Some states have banned 80% lowers and certain firearm parts, or have otherwise restricted the sale and ownership of products we sell. So, be sure to check your local and state laws. We can’t ship our products to certain states. Please check our Shipping & Return Policy before placing an order (see restrictions).
