1911 Phantom Jig by Stealth Arms Review

It has never been easier to complete a custom 1911 build and gun enthusiast have the 1911 Phantom Jig by Stealth Arms to thank for it. Spoiler alert, this review is going to rave about jig because we love it. However, stick with us to find out why and you just might love it too. We here at 1911 are of the opinion that every lover of the 2nd amendment should know how to complete a build. Whether that is an AR build or a 1911 build, just know how to put a few parts together to make something go pew. When liberty and 2nd amendment rights are constantly under attack, they can’t take knowledge away from you. This knowledge will ensure that when it matters most, you will always have the ability to defend yourself. So let’s talk about how the 1911 Phantom Jig assists you in that endeavor.

Skip the Tools Keep the Gun

Apart from being a top notch quality product, the fact that you don’t need milling equipment to finish your 1911 is likely the biggest selling point of the Phantom Jig. When you purchase the 1911 Phantom Jig from 1911 Frames you have virtually everything you need from drilling bits to carbide cutters. You can skip all the heavy equipment as with a little elbow grease and patience you will get a perfect cut with little effort. In fact, if you read Stealth Arms description of the product itself they go so far as to call it dummy proof. I don’t use that term because I’ve met some serious dummies in my life, but this thing is about as close to dummy proof as you can get.

You likely know by now, the ATF considers an 80% 1911 frame in the same category as an 80% lower receiver for an AR. Namely, not a weapon. That means you can ship as many of these 80% frames to your house as you want and the government has to treat it the same as if you just ordered 25 chia pets. This is not to skirt the law, but to abide by it while protecting your 2nd amendment rights. With the purchase of the Phantom Jig and a 1911 parts kit, you can then decide to make it weapon your liberty loving mind decides to do so.

Rinse, Recycle and Repeat

The other great thing about the Phantom Jig is that you can use it over and over again. This is not a one shot and done product. No one buys a drill or a hammer for a one time use and this product is no different. The purchase of this tool is an investment that can continue to produce dividends years down the road. It’s a quality made American product built by people who know about guns for other people who know about guns and the reviews are consistent. 1911 Frames is unapologetic about pushing American made products and if you don’t believe us just check out our belief statements below.

In the interest of full disclosure, we will tell you that when used on steel frames the Phantom Jig does get mix results and multiple cutters are sometimes need. Then again, when you match that jig up with one of our 7075 aluminum 1911 frames we sell here the Phantom Jig cuts like a hot knife through butter. End story, we love Phantom Jig from Stealth Arms. It’s an investment in 2nd amendment liberty that keeps on giving resulting in plenty of pew for your penny. Consider us a fan and we think you will become one too.
