A billet 80% lower affords some unique advantages over the traditional forged unit: Since the entire receiver blank is precisely cut using CNC machines from one piece of 6061-T6 aluminum, more complex shapes and aesthetic considerations can be made. Our billet lowers feature broached mag wells, integrated and heavy-duty trigger guards, and most importantly, threaded fittings for some of the original roll pin fixtures found in your lower parts kit. If you've ever installed an LPK before, you've probably learned that trying to punch those tiny lil' pins in place can be a pain.
Billet 80% Lowers: Mil-Spec Fit, Finish
In addition to cool looks and unique features, our billet 80 lowers still sport mil-spec fittings and a proper Type III hardcoat anodized finish. This ensures 100% compatibility with virtually all "retail" factory and aftermarket AR-15 parts, ensuring you can customize your new AR to your liking. Our billet receivers are compatible with all 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington/Wylde, and 300 Blackout configurations. We also introduced the new AR9 billet lower for dedicated 9mm carbine and pistol builds!
Not a Firearm under Federal Law, Ships Direct
Under federal law and ATF policy, an 80% lower receiver
is not classified as a firearm until the builder completes the last 20% of milling
. Therefore, 80% billet lowers do not require an FFL transfer paperwork or serialization (although serialization is recommended after completion). This offers you the opportunity to build a fully-functional firearm without any of the clunky, overbearing government oversight. You simply place your order and we can ship directly to you.
State Laws May Vary
Some states have banned 80% lowers and certain firearm parts, or have otherwise restricted the sale and ownership of products we sell. So, be sure to check your local and state laws. We can’t ship our products to certain states. Please check our Shipping & Return Policy before placing an order (see restrictions).
